Parsons CTF at Montgomery College

by Drew Zeiber

On 28 April, Nicholas Jackson, Drew Zeiber, and Phil Gandy from the Parsons Cyber Intelligence & Operations Sector participated in a panel discussion and hosted a custom Capture the Flag (CTF) competition in Montgomery College’s CyberLab.  Students, including many members of the Montgomery College Cybersecurity Club, tested their network forensics, cryptography, and hacking skills in a series of increasingly difficult challenges.  Following a trophy presentation, Nicholas Jackson walked the students through each of the challenges and answered questions.  This event showcases Parsons’ continuing commitment to STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) education and to building and fostering relationships with local schools.
